Lara has been in the food industry for over 30 years. She has owned 3 restaurants, working in every known capacity, but primarily running the kitchens. She later moved into the wholesale business where her passion for understanding what is behind the scenes in the food industry really began to shine.
Lara grew up in Black Mountain, NC. After graduating from Appalachian State, she moved to Charleston, SC, where she lived for over 20 years. In 2014 she relocated back to NC, and currently resides in Charlotte.
